Privacy Policy

Plain language. No surprises. — Effective March 2026

What DreamSets is

DreamSets is a fan-built website. There's no company behind it, no venture funding, no data business. It's a personal project that indexes DMB live performances on YouTube so fans can search and play them.

That context matters: we have no interest in collecting your data and no infrastructure to do so.

What we collect

Almost nothing.

We don't have user accounts. We don't set cookies. We don't log your searches or watch history on our end.

The only data we collect is anonymous page view analytics — how many people visited the site, roughly where they came from (country-level), and which pages were viewed. We use Umami Analytics for this. Umami is cookie-free and does not collect personal information. No name, no email, no IP address, no device fingerprint. We can see "500 people visited today from the US, Germany, and Australia" — nothing more granular than that.

Your playlists stay on your device

When you build a playlist or load a curated one, it's saved in your browser's localStorage — a storage area built into your browser that never leaves your device. We never receive your playlist data. It's not sent to any server, ever.

If you share a playlist via the share button, the playlist contents are encoded in the URL itself (the part after the #). Whoever you share that link with can see it; we don't log it.

Clearing your browser data or localStorage will erase your saved playlists. That's the trade-off for privacy.

YouTube video embeds

The videos on DreamSets are hosted on YouTube and embedded via YouTube's official player. When you play a video, you're loading content directly from Google's servers.

Google may collect data about your interaction with embedded YouTube videos according to their own privacy policy. We have no control over what YouTube tracks when you play a video here.

If you're concerned about YouTube tracking, you can open any video directly on YouTube using the "Open on YouTube" link on every video card instead of using the embedded player.

Video submissions

If you submit a video using our "Know a video we're missing?" form, your submission is processed by Netlify Forms. The form collects the information you enter (YouTube URL, concert details, optional email) and your IP address as part of spam prevention. We use this solely to review and add missing videos to the index.
